According to Wired: Zune better than iPod

In the war of the Microsoft reproducers this putting finally a little complicated to iPod. We did not speak of which Microsoft is really going to be the main problem of Apple, but with the second version of Zune he has improved remarkably, as much that until in Wired they have raised the roof and they have put it in front of iPod.

They are based on aspects like the hardware, the characteristics of iTunes Store and Zune marketplace, the screen, precio… The more important general aspects, and always according to Wired, Zune this ahead.

Zune 3. To want and not to be able

Calm everybody. One is not the new version of Zune that Microsoft has presented/displayed for the CES, no.

Simply it is a serious concept of how the telephone of Microsoft with Internet for explorer and everything. That it details. I am afraid much that Microsoft would have to do too much well the things to supplant iPhone of the throne of the popularity, and with Android warming up motores…. complicated, complicated. In any case, the concept calls much the attention.

Creative adds a loudspeaker to the Zen Stone [CES 2008]

Even without understanding the reason which it takes to Creative to put a loudspeaker, which I doubt much of its quality of audio, in a as small reproducer as it is the Creative Zen Stone, it does not seem that it affects much to a comrpador of this type of reproducers.

When you buy a reproducer of this type, so small, with an almost nonexistent screen that shows the basic thing, I do not believe that what you look for is concretely power in a loudspeaker, to if that why? The new models of Zen Stone and Zen Stone Extra loudspeaker has this micro, will come in capacities of 1 and 2GB in the case of the Zen stone, in the Zen Stone Extra the capacities are of 2GB and 4GB.

Altec Lansing Speaker System for iPhone

Altec Lansing is launching a new speaker system for the iPhone. The new product, named T612, looks similar to the M602, but it has been redesigned to meet the “Work with iPhone” Category 5 requirements.

The device is equipped with two 3” full range drivers plus two 1” silk dome tweeters. I have to say that the sound quality is amazing compared to the M602. It comes with a remote control and works with iPod and iPhone.

And if the iPhone rings? The music goes to pause, you take the call, you re-dock the iPhone and the music starts again. Sweet!

The new iPhone speaker system has not been shipped to dealers but it should be available soon. The device has a retail price of $199.99.

Belkin TuneBase and TuneCast More Formally Announced

The product: The Belkin TuneBase FM and TuneCast Auto (the Tunebase with car charger) are Belkin's newest FM transmitters to send music from your iPhone and iPod through your radio.

The catch: While these new models are really just updates to what Belkin's been offering for years, there aren't really any catches since if you don't like the sound of FM, they offer a line out that can be used for a direct stereo connection.

Belkin claims "a majority of MP3 owners listen to MP3s in their car," so we guess these Belkin devices still have relevance in the market, which is sort of amazing considering how long ago Belkin started making FM iPod accessories.

The TuneBase FM will run you about $100 when it's available this April, while the TuneCast Auto is surprisingly less expensive at only $80 this February.

Belkin Podcast Studio, iPods Get XLR

Dual XLR and 1/4-inch channels offer a solid range of recording options. A built-in mic and speaker are powered by their own battery, saving your iPod juice better used for listening to your genius later.

The Price: $100 this June
